Commerical Dumpster Size Information

The 2 yard dumpster is a model of efficiency. It is short and stout at 6 ft wide x 3 ft long x 3 ft high but it can still handle a whopping 800 lbs. of trash. Its small stature also means it can be placed just about anywhere on your property. Keep it right next to the back door or near the loading area for your small warehouse, or any other location you find convenient. Just be sure you have enough room for our garbage truck to swing by and pick up your trash!

Our 4 yard dumpsters are relatively mid-sized, laying smack in the middle between our 2 yard and 6 yard capacity bins. Each of these dumpsters measures out at 6 ft wide x 4.5 ft long x 5 ft high, making them just a bit larger than the 2 yarder. Even though these units are taller, they are still easy to fill without having to hoist trash bags over your shoulder. These bins can also be placed in just about any location, just like its little cousin, but extra consideration should be made for their extra height.

Our 6 yard dumpsters are great for a variety of different businesses, including large retail outlets, distribution centers, and even some large industrial facilities. These dumpsters are typically 6 ft wide and 5 feet long, giving them a strong, sturdy base. Each dumpster is also roughly 6 feet high, which gives them an exceptional amount of space to contain your weekly trash load. But don't worry about having to hold the lid open. These dumpsters are equipped with a side door so you can toss whatever you've got in without any hassle.

The 8 yard dumpster is what we like to call the "big daddy" of our dumpster offerings. These bins get exceedingly big with a height of 7 ft. These dumpsters are built for large industrial and commercial settings, including import/export businesses and national distribution/logistics hubs. They are easy to fill despite their large stature thanks to the small door installed on their side, that way you don't have to fiddle with the lid. All in all, a great choice for an business with a huge waste stream.

We rented a 20 yd dumpster for 2 weeks, with the rental period ending on 8/28/24. The service when I ordered/confirmed was quick and great, the dropoff was simple and easy, and scheduling pickup was simple as well. I had NO issues with this company or dumpster until the day of pickup. READ HERE: On the day of pickup, at 5:48am, I got a notification of a $74 charge to my credit card (the card that was used to pay upfront for the rental). I immediately emailed customer support and asked what the charge was for because we STILL HAD the dumpster at our home so I was confused - it had not been removed yet since it was so early in the day. I figured it was an honest billing mistake. The customer sevice person emailed me back at 7:45am, saying that the $74 was an overage fee since our dumpster went over the 1-ton weight limit. BUT THE DUMPSTER HADN'T EVEN BEEN PICKED UP YET. I STILL gave the benefit of the doubt, wondering if there was a censor of some sort on the dumpsters where they can tell the weight digitally from afar - but THEN, I read some of the other bad reviews here, and it seems this is a recurring thing. They charged my card for additional weight before they even removed/weighed the dumpster - had I not set alerts up to my phone, I likely wouldn't have realized this extra charge for quite awhile (if ever). I messaged with customer support who said they'll look into it with accounting, and I asked for photo/documentation proof of the final weight of our dumpster - to prove they charge fairly and aren't just adding how ever much weight they want knowing there's no way for customers to find out. The woman told me that IF this was an accurate charge, she'd provide the weight ticket from the landfill (proving they do NOT weigh it until it's at the landfill which would've been hours after my 5:48am credit charge). Support came back saying it WAS a "mistake," and I shouldn't have been charged that - and they did reverse it quickly; but I am left to wonder based on this experience and the past reviews if this was genuinely a mistake, or if this is something they do to get extra money every so often in hopes that people don't notice the additional charge to their credit cards. Good experience other than now feeling like they tried to charge me extra unfairly - and likely will not use this 3rd party company again for that reason alone.
