The Smaller Commercial Dumpsters

The 2-yard is the baby of the bunch, but don't think that means it won't be able to handle your needs. If you have a smaller business or restaurant location (typically around 2,500 square feet or less), the 2 yard option could be your best choice. It's about 3 feet tall, making it easy to toss your waste over the walls and into the container. The equivalent space inside the unit is that of the back of a 1 ton pickup truck. In the land of dumpsters, the 4-yard is your medium-sized option. If we're talking basketball, it's more of the Shooting Guard in the bunch. And just like the SG in basketball, the 4 yard dumpster is your all-around player. Get one of these at your location if you have a business that is a bit larger than what we described for the 2 yarders, but not so large that you?re in a major warehouse. This is the best of both worlds when it comes to commercial waste removal.

The Larger Commercial Dumpsters

With numbers like 6 feet wide, 5 feet long, and 6 feet tall, this is the start of the big boys. The 6 yard dumpster has got the space, but it isn't quite as monstrous as the largest option. There's a sliding door on these that can be utilized to enter the unit. Sometimes, those bags are just going to be too big to toss over the walls. And the last thing you want is a bag tearing and your waste going everywhere. Rent the 6 yarder with great rates and terms, and keep that refuse off-site and out of the way.

Here it is, the big kahuna. There's nothing bigger than our 8 yarder, and at 7 feet tall, it's quite the site to see. If you are going to have lots and lots of waste on a regular basis, this is the option for you. But just like the 6 yard dumpster, the 8 yard option has a sliding door to enter the unit. Keep in mind though, this one is only for locations of around 25,000 square feet.

The dumpster arrived within the 12 hour delivery window; however, the pick-up takes days to get accomplished. I got a 15-yarder for what was a reasonable price + $60 additional for a street permit, but what I didn't expect was the upcharges on what they claimed was extra tonnage. I disagreed with the assessed weight and the additional charges. My thought is there must be a mix-up somewhere. Budget Dumpster does not provide any validation for their findings or the extra charges. They will not address that potentially other materials were added after pick-up or provide documentation supporting their claim of such a weight being picked up from my residence? It's unfortunate that I write such a review, but future customers need to be aware.

In addition to having great rates and a smooth appointment system, BD's communications were awesome. They make sure you're informed about what to expect and they deliver what they promise, WHEN they promise. Originally, I had to schedule my pickup on the first available date, which was one day later than my rental term. BD contacted me to say I wouldn't be charged for that extra day. A few hours later they contacted me again to let me know they'd had a cancellation on the date I requested to begin with, so I got my pickup on that date after all. I was totally impressed by the heads-up way they monitor the whole process and look for chances to make the service even better.

I ordered and paid for a 15 yard dumpster and was delivered a 12 yard dumpster. After multiple calls showing pictures of the dumpster and tape measured dimensions proving it was a 12 yard size, they insisted it was actually 15 yards and refused to do anything about it. Edit: Customer Service reached out to me and finally offered a refund for the price difference. This doesn't help with the inconvenience of being unable to fit everything in the smaller dumpster, but at least they did something. My advice is still to check the dimensions when it's delivered
