The best way to fill a roll off container is to walk your large and heavy materials inside through the loading door first. Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?
You do not need a permit if you’re keeping the dumpster rental on private property, like your driveway or a construction site. If you need to place your roll off container directly on a street, sidewalk or other piece of public property, you will need a Right-of-Way Permit from the city of Rochester.
