What can’t I dispose of with a roll off dumpster?
We’ll take most debris off your hands, but there are prohibited items that can’t go in our roll off containers. These include household chemicals, tires, batteries and other hazardous waste. In addition to raising safety concerns in landfills, these materials may damage your dumpster rental as well. Please note that we accept mattresses and electronics, but you might incur a per-item disposal fee. If you have concerns about anything you’re throwing away, give us a call.
When I rent a dumpster, where should I keep it?
We will place your dumpster rental on a flat, paved surface near your home or jobsite. For residential projects, your driveway is usually the most convenient spot. On construction sites, keep the container in a designated waste area set away from debris and equipment. If you’re working in the public right-of-way, you might need a permit from Alpharetta’s Public Works Department. Not sure where your roll off container should go? How It Works
1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
