How does the rental process work?

With Budget Dumpster, the rental process is extremely easy. All you have to do is call our office Monday through Friday, and answer a few questions about what kind of dumpster you will need and where you want the dumpster placed. We will find you the best possible dumpster price and give you a lot flat-rate quote. We will set you up for delivery, drop off the dumpster where you requested, and you can keep if there for the rental term of up to 10 days. If you are finished with the dumpster early, that's fine. If you need the dumpster a little longer, that's fine too. You can keep it past your rental terms at a rate or $10 per day. Whenever you do finish filling it up, just give us a call and we will schedule your pick up at the next available time. We will send a hauler out to pick up your filled dumpster and take it away to the landfill. It's as easy as that. Call for delivery. Fill it up. Call for pick up. We believe in making the process as easy as possible for our customers, and we handle all of the little details of the rental process for our customers for that reason.

What kind of dumpster do I need to move?

Cleaning out your house before a big move is a great idea. You can get rid of all the junk you don't need while you go through your belongings and pack up what you actually want into boxes. It will make the unpacking process much less stressful, because you won't be trying to put away a bunch of items that you don't even want. If you aren't doing a major cleanout, like those you might find on the TLC show Hoarders, you can probably get away with one of our smaller dumpster sizes, such as the 10 yard. The exception to this would be if you have larger furniture pieces that would tower over the sides of the walls. Usually the 10 yard dumpsters are 10 feet long and 3.5 feet tall, so you could not have any items or furniture pieces that would lay higher than that or stretch longer than the length of the dumpster. In such a case, it is probably better to upgrade to the larger size that would have sides as high as 5 or 7 feet and lengths of 20 feet long. When the driver comes to pick up your dumpster, he or she will lay a tarp over the top of the dumpster and secure it to the sides so that it can be safely hauled over the road. If anything is sticking up over the top or hanging off of the sides, the tarp cannot be secured and it is unsafe to drive that dumpster over the road. If you are unsure what size you need, you can always call in and describe the large items to one of our customer service representatives.
