Do I need to be present for my dumpster delivery?
You do not need to be present for your dumpster rental delivery, unless your property is gated and would need to be unlocked for our driver. Just make sure the spot you’ve chosen for the bin is clear for the entire day. If the roll off container will be in your driveway, you should park your cars on the street or in the garage. On construction sites, simply keep the delivery area clear of any equipment or debris.
Why can I only partially fill my dumpster rental with certain materials?
When getting rid of heavy debris such as brick or cement, you can only fill your roll off dumpster halfway to avoid exceeding your dumpster’s weight limit. Staying within this weight limit will ensure the container can be removed by our truck. Not sure how much your materials weigh? Use our weight calculator to estimate the tonnage of your debris.
Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?
You do not need a permit if you place the dumpster on your private property, such as your driveway. If you don’t have space or your driveway is on an incline, we may be able to place the dumpster on a street next to the property. If street placement is the best option for your dumpster rental, contact the Cooper City Building Division to see if a permit is required.
