What should I do if it rains during my dumpster rental period?
If you expect rain, cover the top of your bin with a tarp or some other waterproof covering and secure it with bungee cords. Rain can soak through your debris and weigh it down, which might overload your roll off container. Each dumpster rental comes with a set weight limit, so adding extra weight to your bin will result in an extra fee. Once the rain has passed, you can remove the covering and resume your cleanup.
Do I need a permit for my roll off dumpster?
You don’t need a permit if you keep your dumpster rental on private property, like your driveway or construction site. If you want to park your dumpster in the street, you will need a permit from the Federal Heights Public Works Department.
