What do I need to remember for delivery day? - Accessibility should be something that is on your mind, especially for delivery day. Before you even place the order, however, you should be aware of some things. First, please make sure that the road leading up to your location can service not only an open-top dumpster but also a flatbed truck. If our drivers can't reach you, you can't receive your delivery. Also, keep in mind that we do not service alley ways as they are too narrow for our trucks to fit down. Likewise, if there are low-hanging wires or branches on your street, this could cause issues as well. You road should not be overly narrow, whether that is the road itself, or a residential road with cars parked on it. For delivery day itself, we ask that you remove all cars and obstructions from the area where we will be delivering your waste container.

What do I need to know for waste removal? - When you are finished with your dumpster, please call us back and not the number on the side of the unit. Budget Dumpster handles every part of the order for you so as to avoid any confusion. Also, like with delivery, make sure there are no vehicles or obstructions that may block the progress of our drivers. And please do not call before you have finished with your open-top unit. Our drivers will not wait around while you continue to fill the dumpster. They will also not take a dumpster that is over filled with refuse.

We rented a 20 yd dumpster for 2 weeks, with the rental period ending on 8/28/24. The service when I ordered/confirmed was quick and great, the dropoff was simple and easy, and scheduling pickup was simple as well. I had NO issues with this company or dumpster until the day of pickup. READ HERE: On the day of pickup, at 5:48am, I got a notification of a $74 charge to my credit card (the card that was used to pay upfront for the rental). I immediately emailed customer support and asked what the charge was for because we STILL HAD the dumpster at our home so I was confused - it had not been removed yet since it was so early in the day. I figured it was an honest billing mistake. The customer sevice person emailed me back at 7:45am, saying that the $74 was an overage fee since our dumpster went over the 1-ton weight limit. BUT THE DUMPSTER HADN'T EVEN BEEN PICKED UP YET. I STILL gave the benefit of the doubt, wondering if there was a censor of some sort on the dumpsters where they can tell the weight digitally from afar - but THEN, I read some of the other bad reviews here, and it seems this is a recurring thing. They charged my card for additional weight before they even removed/weighed the dumpster - had I not set alerts up to my phone, I likely wouldn't have realized this extra charge for quite awhile (if ever). I messaged with customer support who said they'll look into it with accounting, and I asked for photo/documentation proof of the final weight of our dumpster - to prove they charge fairly and aren't just adding how ever much weight they want knowing there's no way for customers to find out. The woman told me that IF this was an accurate charge, she'd provide the weight ticket from the landfill (proving they do NOT weigh it until it's at the landfill which would've been hours after my 5:48am credit charge). Support came back saying it WAS a "mistake," and I shouldn't have been charged that - and they did reverse it quickly; but I am left to wonder based on this experience and the past reviews if this was genuinely a mistake, or if this is something they do to get extra money every so often in hopes that people don't notice the additional charge to their credit cards. Good experience other than now feeling like they tried to charge me extra unfairly - and likely will not use this 3rd party company again for that reason alone.
