Do I need a permit for my roll-off rental? - If the rental will be delivered to a residence or privately owned property, there is no requirement for a permit. However, if any part of the unit will be on public property (including streets and sidewalks) then one must be acquired through the city. Our drivers will not make delivery to a place needing a permit if one has not already been obtained.
How full can my dumpster be for pick up? - Your open-top must be at “water level†when we come to make a pickup. This means that the debris may not be above the height of the walls or hanging over their sides. By law, our drivers are not allowed to be on the road with an overly full waste container. Make sure that all debris is level with the sides of the dumpster and you will have no issues.
What are the rules regarding heavy debris? - “Clean†dirt and concrete must be disposed of in a particular way. These two substances must be on their own in the unit; that means they cannot even be mixed together. Also, due to their incurred weight, the roll-off may only be filled approximately halfway up its walls. Anything more than that and the container will be unable to be loaded back onto the flatbed and result in a trip fee of up to ninety dollars.
