Your Hometown Dumpster Rental FAQ

How long can I keep my roll-off unit? - Your initial rental period is for two weeks, this is included with the price you pay for the open-top. However, you may keep the unit as long as you want; there is a ten dollar a day flat fee for every day after the first fourteen. Don't forget, we do not automatically come out for the dumpster. Call us back (not the number on the side of the rental) and we will send out a driver to make a pickup for you.

Do I need a permit for the rental? - If the unit is going to be placed on the property of a private residence or other privately owned property, then a permit is not required. However, if the roll-off will be placed anywhere on public property (this includes sidewalks and city streets) then a permit with the city must first be acquired before our driver will make their delivery.

What are the restrictions regarding heavy debris? - Heavy debris, such as dirt or concrete must be alone in the waste container. This means they cannot even be mixed together in the unit. You may also not fill the unit higher than approximately halfway up the walls. Any unit filled higher than halfway will be unable to be loaded by the winch back onto the flatbed. You will receive a trip fee of up to ninety dollars for the time and fuel costs.
