How do you load a roll off dumpster?
It’s best to fill your roll off dumpster as evenly as possible, so you can fit more debris inside and avoid overloading the container. We recommend loading your heaviest materials first so you can easily walk them in through the dumpster door. You can fill in the remaining space with lighter items by walking them in or tossing them over the sides. When you’re ready for a pickup, make sure all your debris is completely inside the roll off container with nothing sticking up over the top.
What should I do with my dumpster rental if it rains?
If a storm rolls in over the river while your roll off dumpster is on-site, you should cover it to avoid adding weight to absorbent materials or getting standing water in the bin. The easiest way to cover a roll off container is with a tarp, which you can secure with bungee cords so it doesn’t blow away.
