You'll need an Excavation/Encroachment Permit to keep your dumpster in the street. Get in touch with the city of North Salt Lake's Public Works Department for permitting information. Make sure you get your permit after you order your roll off dumpster but before it's delivered. To keep your bin on private property, like your driveway or jobsite, you don't need a permit. How do I know which size dumpster rental to order?
