Can a dumpster go in my driveway?

Of course! If you are looking to get a dumpster delivered to your home, placing it in the driveway is the most common request we get. Driveways are usually easily accessible for our drivers and in most cases provide a level ground that allows for an easy drop off and pick up. Make sure that your driveway is long enough and easily accessible, not being blocked by trees or wires. If you have a small driveway that cannot accommodate the additional length of a dumpster, you might also consider getting a permit to put your dumpster in the street. If you decide to go that route, you must have the permit ready before the driver arrives on site, or we will not be able to leave the dumpster in the street.

What can't go in a dumpster?

When you rent a dumpster, we can take just about all of your unwanted junk and debris! However, there are some items that are prohibited from going in the landfills, and therefore we cannot take them in the dumpster. These items include hazardous wastes or chemicals, or items that contain hazardous chemicals, such as refrigerators or air conditioners with Freon in them. We also cannot take car tires or batteries, branches or logs that are larger than 4" in diameter. Some locations have other restrictions on particular items or charge extra for them. This might include things such as mattresses or electronics and appliances. When you call to schedule a delivery, make sure you let the customer service representative know what types of items you plan to put in the dumpster. They will be able to let you know what items cannot go in your dumpster and if there are any additional restrictions based on your location.

Can I get a dumpster rental tomorrow?

In many cases, a two day notice is best to ensure availability of the dumpster size you request. However, if you call in the morning before noon, we can often get you set up for delivery the following day! Our customer service representatives will always work with you to the best of their ability to get you a dumpster delivery ASAP. Once we get it out to you, keep it for up to 10 days. Or if you want to keep it longer, it's only an additional $10 per day. During the summer months, our haulers are particularly busy because of the number of construction projects going on while the weather is nice. Budget Dumpster is also the busiest on Mondays, when our customers are planning ahead for the week and calling to set up their delivery.
