Will my dumpster rental have a weight limit?
Yes, our roll off dumpsters have a set weight limit which reflects the volume of debris that is included in your upfront rate. Exceeding this limit will result in a prorated, per-ton overage fee. Not sure how much your debris weighs? You can use our weight calculator to estimate the tonnage of your trash. Our expert team can also help you estimate the amount of waste your project will create if you are unsure.
If it rains, should I cover the roll off dumpster?
Yes, we recommend putting a tarp over the top of your dumpster rental if you are expecting heavy rain or snow. Absorbent materials, such as wood or furniture, could retain water and increase the weight of your dumpster. If you are expecting high winds, be sure to attach the cover with ropes or bungee cords to secure it to the roll off container.
Do I need a permit for my dumpster rental?
You won't need a permit to keep the dumpster on your own property, but if you want to place it in the street, you might need one from the city of Hanover Park.
