What items can I dispose of with my roll off dumpster?
Our dumpster rental service can take a wide variety of trash and debris, including home clutter, yard waste and drywall. We also accept appliances, electronics, mattresses and box springs, though these things require additional processing and will incur a per-item disposal fee. However, you cannot dispose of flammable or other hazardous waste using a roll off dumpster. Other prohibited items include tires, batteries, gasoline, paint and household chemicals.
What should I do before my dumpster rental arrives?
After you've scheduled your dumpster’s delivery, you'll need to make sure the drop-off area is clear of any obstacles. If you plan on keeping the roll off container in your driveway, move any vehicles to your garage or the street and make sure any gates are open. On construction sites, simply keep the area clear of any equipment or debris. For other dumpster delivery tips, give our team a call.
Do I need a permit to rent a dumpster?
You don’t need city permission to keep your dumpster rental on private property, like your driveway or job site. However, you need to apply for a Right-of-Way Permit from the city of Independence if you want us to place your roll off container on the street or sidewalk.
