How should I be filling the waste container? - Regardless of the debris type, you should be filling your roll-off rental evenly throughout This means that neither end of the unit is going to be filled higher than the other. When we go to make pickup on the open-top we cannot load a dumpster that has one side filled higher with refuse. This would result in a weight distribution that would not work for the winch we use to get your rental back onto the flatbed for waste removal.

What should I know about general household and construction debris? - When it comes to standard refuse, there is a filling requirement that you should keep in mind. Please only fill the open-top dumpster to the point where the refuse is level with the height of the walls. Anything above this and by law we would not be allowed on the road with your dumpster. Avoid these issues and have a hassle-free waste removal. You can mix general refuse together in the dumpster as well without any issue.

How about heavy debris? - Heavy debris has its own set of rules. First, please do not mix heavy debris types in the same dumpster. You must rent as many roll-off containers as you have debris types. Also, please do not load the refuse any higher than halfway up the height of the walls. Anything more than this and the dumpster would be too heavy to load back onto the flatbed. Due to the incurred weight, heavy debris has a very specific set of requirements when it comes to filling your waste container.

We rented a 20 yd dumpster for 2 weeks, with the rental period ending on 8/28/24. The service when I ordered/confirmed was quick and great, the dropoff was simple and easy, and scheduling pickup was simple as well. I had NO issues with this company or dumpster until the day of pickup. READ HERE: On the day of pickup, at 5:48am, I got a notification of a $74 charge to my credit card (the card that was used to pay upfront for the rental). I immediately emailed customer support and asked what the charge was for because we STILL HAD the dumpster at our home so I was confused - it had not been removed yet since it was so early in the day. I figured it was an honest billing mistake. The customer sevice person emailed me back at 7:45am, saying that the $74 was an overage fee since our dumpster went over the 1-ton weight limit. BUT THE DUMPSTER HADN'T EVEN BEEN PICKED UP YET. I STILL gave the benefit of the doubt, wondering if there was a censor of some sort on the dumpsters where they can tell the weight digitally from afar - but THEN, I read some of the other bad reviews here, and it seems this is a recurring thing. They charged my card for additional weight before they even removed/weighed the dumpster - had I not set alerts up to my phone, I likely wouldn't have realized this extra charge for quite awhile (if ever). I messaged with customer support who said they'll look into it with accounting, and I asked for photo/documentation proof of the final weight of our dumpster - to prove they charge fairly and aren't just adding how ever much weight they want knowing there's no way for customers to find out. The woman told me that IF this was an accurate charge, she'd provide the weight ticket from the landfill (proving they do NOT weigh it until it's at the landfill which would've been hours after my 5:48am credit charge). Support came back saying it WAS a "mistake," and I shouldn't have been charged that - and they did reverse it quickly; but I am left to wonder based on this experience and the past reviews if this was genuinely a mistake, or if this is something they do to get extra money every so often in hopes that people don't notice the additional charge to their credit cards. Good experience other than now feeling like they tried to charge me extra unfairly - and likely will not use this 3rd party company again for that reason alone.
