How long can I keep the dumpster that I rent? - We have an initial rental period on the open-top that you rent of two weeks. This begins from the time the roll-off is delivered and not when you place the order. We believe in providing you with a service that is truly two weeks, not trying to nickel and dime you for a few extra days on our end. If you need to extend your rental out further, that's perfectly fine. We can offer you a flat-rate pricing plan of ten dollars a day for every day after the first fourteen. So feel free to keep the unit until you are actually finished with the open-top container. We know that you are not going to have a clear idea of how long you are going to need with the dumpster until you have already begun the project.

What should I do to schedule waste removal? - When you are finished with the dumpster, all you have to do is call us back. From there, we will send a driver out to make pickup on the open-top unit. Please make sure that you call us and not the number on the side of the roll-off. Budget Dumpster handles every part of the order for our customers. Just be sure that you have finished with the dumpster before you call us. Our drivers will not wait around while you continue to fill the unit. They will also not help you if you have over-filled your roll-off rental. Keep that in mind when you go to schedule your waste removal.

We rented a 20 yd dumpster for 2 weeks, with the rental period ending on 8/28/24. The service when I ordered/confirmed was quick and great, the dropoff was simple and easy, and scheduling pickup was simple as well. I had NO issues with this company or dumpster until the day of pickup. READ HERE: On the day of pickup, at 5:48am, I got a notification of a $74 charge to my credit card (the card that was used to pay upfront for the rental). I immediately emailed customer support and asked what the charge was for because we STILL HAD the dumpster at our home so I was confused - it had not been removed yet since it was so early in the day. I figured it was an honest billing mistake. The customer sevice person emailed me back at 7:45am, saying that the $74 was an overage fee since our dumpster went over the 1-ton weight limit. BUT THE DUMPSTER HADN'T EVEN BEEN PICKED UP YET. I STILL gave the benefit of the doubt, wondering if there was a censor of some sort on the dumpsters where they can tell the weight digitally from afar - but THEN, I read some of the other bad reviews here, and it seems this is a recurring thing. They charged my card for additional weight before they even removed/weighed the dumpster - had I not set alerts up to my phone, I likely wouldn't have realized this extra charge for quite awhile (if ever). I messaged with customer support who said they'll look into it with accounting, and I asked for photo/documentation proof of the final weight of our dumpster - to prove they charge fairly and aren't just adding how ever much weight they want knowing there's no way for customers to find out. The woman told me that IF this was an accurate charge, she'd provide the weight ticket from the landfill (proving they do NOT weigh it until it's at the landfill which would've been hours after my 5:48am credit charge). Support came back saying it WAS a "mistake," and I shouldn't have been charged that - and they did reverse it quickly; but I am left to wonder based on this experience and the past reviews if this was genuinely a mistake, or if this is something they do to get extra money every so often in hopes that people don't notice the additional charge to their credit cards. Good experience other than now feeling like they tried to charge me extra unfairly - and likely will not use this 3rd party company again for that reason alone.
