Do I need to be present for delivery?
There is no need to be on-site for the delivery of your roll off dumpster, unless you need to open a gate or remove an obstacle for our driver to place your bin. Will my roll off dumpster have a door?
Yes, all of our roll off containers have a loading door, allowing you to walk items in and stack them neatly. In fact, it’s safer to walk large or heavy items in through the door rather than trying to push them over the sides. You can also use a wheelbarrow to collect your debris, and roll it inside the dumpster to empty it. After big items are inside the bin, you can throw smaller objects over the top or walk them in as needed.
Do I need a permit for my dumpster rental?
If you plan to keep your dumpster rental on the street, you will need a permit since it will be placed on public property. You can easily apply for a Right-of-Way permit online from the city. You will not need a permit if your roll off dumpster is kept on private property, such as on a driveway or job site. 1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
