Why can I only partially fill my dumpster with certain materials?
When getting rid of heavy debris such as brick or cement, you can only fill your roll off dumpster halfway to avoid exceeding your weight limit. Staying within the weight limit will ensure the container can be removed by our truck. Not sure how much your materials weigh? Use our weight calculator to estimate the tonnage of your debris. To help you finish your project without going over your limit, our team can provide and empty-and-return service for bigger jobs, so you can quickly get back to work once your dumpster is emptied.
Where should I keep my roll off dumpster?
Choose a flat, easily-accessible area for your dumpster rental delivery, such as a parking lot or driveway. If your driveway is sloped to the extent that cars require a parking brake, we will not be able to place a roll off container there. If your business is located in the downtown Historic District, you will have to obtain approval from the Historic Review Board before renting a dumpster. For permit information in residential areas, give us a call or contact the city of Elgin.

1. Choose a size and delivery spot. We require 60 feet of space in a straight line and 23 feet of vertical clearance.
