I need multiple dumpsters but I'm short on space?

We get this issue more often than you would think, and we have an easy solution. You can get an empty and return service when you rent with Budget Dumpster which solves the issue of not a lot of room to work with. We do ask that for the easiest method of completing an empty and return service you have room for at least two dumpsters at a time. This could be a temporary two dumpsters, but we ask that for this to run most smoothly it is two all the same. Empty and return services are easy. When you call in for your waste removal, just let us know this is what you need. Make sure you have informed us of your request before we arrive or we will not come out with your new dumpster.

Once you have scheduled the empty and return service, pick a date for us to come out and handle your waste removal. We'll send a driver out to your location with a fresh, empty dumpster on our flatbed. That driver will deliver your new dumpster onsite and at the same time handle the removal of the full open-top that you currently are wanting removed. Keep in mind, an empty and return service means you are renting another dumpster. This does not count as the same first rental that you placed, it is a totally separate transaction. We rented a 20 yd dumpster for 2 weeks, with the rental period ending on 8/28/24. The service when I ordered/confirmed was quick and great, the dropoff was simple and easy, and scheduling pickup was simple as well. I had NO issues with this company or dumpster until the day of pickup. READ HERE: On the day of pickup, at 5:48am, I got a notification of a $74 charge to my credit card (the card that was used to pay upfront for the rental). I immediately emailed customer support and asked what the charge was for because we STILL HAD the dumpster at our home so I was confused - it had not been removed yet since it was so early in the day. I figured it was an honest billing mistake. The customer sevice person emailed me back at 7:45am, saying that the $74 was an overage fee since our dumpster went over the 1-ton weight limit. BUT THE DUMPSTER HADN'T EVEN BEEN PICKED UP YET. I STILL gave the benefit of the doubt, wondering if there was a censor of some sort on the dumpsters where they can tell the weight digitally from afar - but THEN, I read some of the other bad reviews here, and it seems this is a recurring thing. They charged my card for additional weight before they even removed/weighed the dumpster - had I not set alerts up to my phone, I likely wouldn't have realized this extra charge for quite awhile (if ever). I messaged with customer support who said they'll look into it with accounting, and I asked for photo/documentation proof of the final weight of our dumpster - to prove they charge fairly and aren't just adding how ever much weight they want knowing there's no way for customers to find out. The woman told me that IF this was an accurate charge, she'd provide the weight ticket from the landfill (proving they do NOT weigh it until it's at the landfill which would've been hours after my 5:48am credit charge). Support came back saying it WAS a "mistake," and I shouldn't have been charged that - and they did reverse it quickly; but I am left to wonder based on this experience and the past reviews if this was genuinely a mistake, or if this is something they do to get extra money every so often in hopes that people don't notice the additional charge to their credit cards. Good experience other than now feeling like they tried to charge me extra unfairly - and likely will not use this 3rd party company again for that reason alone.
