What should I know about filling a dumpster?

When you are filling an open-top order, there are a few things that should be kept in mind. For the most part, as long as you are not exceeding the weight limit or filling the unit beyond capacity, there will be no issues with the rental. When loading refuse into the waste container, make sure that you are filling it evenly throughout. This means that you are not letting either end of the dumpster be filled more than the other. We ask this because when we go to load the unit back onto the flatbed, if there is not even weight distribution, we run the risk of breaking the winch. There is a door on every dumpster that can be utilized to enter the unit and spread refuse throughout the dumpster.

For general household and construction debris, please make sure that you don't fill the dumpster any higher than level with the height of the walls. By law, we cannot be on the road with a roll-off rental that is filled beyond its dimensions. For heavy debris, please do not fill the dumpster any more than halfway up the height of the walls. This is due to the incurred weight of these substances, such as concrete, dirt, and sand. Also, please do not mix your various forms of heavy debris into the same dumpster. You should rent as many heavy debris dumpsters as you are going to have types. Any questions?
