Do I need a permit for my rental?
Depending on where you want that dumpster to be delivered, you might need a permit for your open-top order. For those receiving delivery at a location that is privately owned and owned by the person placing the order, there is no need for a permit. However, if any part of the rental is going to be placed on public property, a permit is required before the scheduled date of delivery. This includes residential deliveries that might end up on sidewalks or city streets. Permits can be obtained through the city. If our driver shows up and you need one but have not already obtained it, they are going to leave without dropping the dumpster onsite. This would also result in a trip fee being assessed to your account.
What other situations would result in a trip fee?
Trip fees occur whenever you have not adhered to one (or multiple) terms of service. If you overfill a dumpster, or send us out for waste removal before you are finished, or we cannot reach where your dumpster has been placed, all of this could result in a trip fee. These are nonrefundable charges that can be over one hundred dollars. If you have any questions about the specifics of our terms of service, feel free to ask any of our customer service representatives. They are going to be able to walk you through the entire rental process and make sure that you are not going to rack up a trip fee for not following the terms of your agreement.
