How long can I keep the unit? - We have an initial two week rental that is attached to every dumpster that you rent from us. This can be extended out longer than that, however, if necessary. We understand that you won't have a clear idea of how long your project is going to take until you have gotten into it. This is why for a flat-rate price of ten dollars a day, you can keep the open-top container beyond the initial fourteen days.
Do I need a permit? - A permit is not required if you are going to have the dumpster delivered to a privately-owned location. For all public locations that you are allowed to make delivery to, we ask that you obtain a permit. These can be acquired through the city and one is required before our driver will place the dumpster on location. If our driver shows up and you need a permit but one is not already present, they will leave without placing the roll-off container onsite. You would need to reschedule your delivery for a later point.
What would result in a trip fee? - If you do not have a permit but one is required then this would result in a trip fee being assessed to your account. Likewise, if you have improperly or over-filled the dumpster, then we would have to charge you as well. If there are any issues with accessibility where we cannot reach you to either deliver the roll-off dumpster or handle waste removal, that would incur a trip fee. Avoid these issues and keep yourself under budget.
