Do I need to be present when my dumpster rental is delivered?
No, you don’t need to be there when we drop off your bin. Just make sure to open any gates to your property and remove any potential obstacles from the delivery spot. You can lay down plywood to protect your driveway from scratches and mark the drop-off spot with traffic cones or colored chalk, but it’s not required. Planning on street placement for your roll off dumpster? You may need a permit before delivery. Contact Rio Vista’s Public Works Department for permitting information. Will my roll off dumpster have a door?
Each of our roll off containers has a swinging door for your convenience. Use the door to load large, heavy items first. You can also collect loose debris in a wheelbarrow, then roll it through the loading door to empty it. We recommend distributing items evenly throughout your dumpster rental to use space efficiently. Be sure to close and secure the door when you’re finished working each day, as well as prior to pickup.

2. Prepare for delivery. Remove any vehicles, materials or low-hanging obstacles to ensure we can deliver your dumpster and to avoid a trip fee.
3. Fill up your dumpster. Remember to keep your included weight limit in mind to prevent overage fees.
4. Schedule your pickup. To ensure pickup and avoid a trip fee, your dumpster must be accessible and only contain approved debris piled no higher than the sidewalls.
