Do I need a permit?
If you are going to have your roll-off rental delivered to a location that is privately owned, there is no need to get a permit. Keep in mind, this should be a private location that you personally own or you have permission to receive a dumpster to that location. For those receiving delivery to a public location, you should obtain a permit before the scheduled date of delivery. Permits can be obtained through the city and should be present and available when we arrive. Keep in mind, if you are ordering an open-top to a residential location and part of the dumpster goes out into the street or on the sidewalk, you should have a permit for that. Our drivers are not going to drop a dumpster at location where you need a permit but cannot present one to us.
Failure to obtain a permit would result in a trip fee. Trip fees are assessed automatically to your account and they are nonrefundable. Avoid these issues by knowing whether your delivery will require a permit for delivery day. Also, please do not over-fill your dumpster or fill it with hazardous debris. These are two other instances that would result in a trip fee being assessed to your account. If you have any questions, call our customer service center and speak to one of our representatives. Any of our employees are going to be able to answer your questions and walk you through the rental process. We make sure you are totally clear on the specifics of your order.
