What should I keep in mind filling the waste container?
In order to avoid any issues or the possibility of a costly trip fee, you should keep the terms of service in mind in regard to filling your dumpster. Dumpsters that are over-filled or improperly filled are going to result in a trip fee being assessed to your account. Trip fees are costly and are nonrefundable. First off, and perhaps most importantly, we ask that you are filling the dumpster evenly. This means that you have not let one end of the open-top be filled more than the other. Whether this is a dumpster with household debris, construction debris, or heavy debris, please keep filling the container evenly the entire time.
For general refuse, the limit we ask you to fill the roll-off rental would be level with the height of the walls. This is for everyday refuse, and most projects will fall under the general debris category. For heavy debris, however, we ask that you are not filling the dumpster any more than halfway. What this means is that you have not let any of the refuse go more than halfway up the walls of the container. This is due to the incurred weight of these substances. Also, please do not mix your heavy debris in the same dumpster. If you will be disposing of more than one type of heavy debris, we ask that you are renting as many dumpsters as you have debris types. Keep all of this in mind while filling your rental and avoid any issues when we arrive for waste removal.
