Do I need a permit?
A permit is not going to be required if you are the private owner of the location where the dumpster will be delivered. Or, if you are working on a location and have permission from the owner to get a waste container delivered there, it is no problem. However, if any part of your dumpster is going to be on public property, you would need to get a permit before we can handle delivery. Permits can be obtained through the city and they must be present when we arrive onsite with the unit. If you fail to present us with a permit, we are not going to be able to handle the delivery. You would need to reschedule for a later date and your account would also be assessed a nonrefundable trip fee.
What else could result in a trip fee?
If we arrive and you have over-filled your open-top order with too much refuse, this would result in a trip fee. Also, if you have tossed any flammable, hazardous or prohibited debris into the rental. It would be up to you to remove the unwanted refuse and then reschedule your waste removal for a later date. Another situation that would result in a trip fee is if we came out to handle either your delivery or your pickup and we could not reach your location. This could mean that the immediate delivery zone is blocked or it could mean that the street you have chosen to have the dumpster delivered on is not accessible by our flatbed.
